“Well, when I first got the script and saw that we had a scene together, I called him and was like “ahh”. Then, we were rehearsing together privately and we kept looking at each other and laughing. And I was like ‘oh, this is not good. We can’t get through this without laughing.But on the day, it went so well that I walked away and I was like : I want more! let’s do it together much more. That was so much fun.”
“I have a girlfriend,” the drummer continues. “and I do believe I’ve been a lot more open with it more recently, especially with this album. I think it helped me realize that I shouldn’t— I think I cared too much about what people would think or if people would judge me… I’m being true to myself. I feel a lot better. I feel happier. There are people who do look up to me and I’ve learned that I should not be hiding a certain part of myself, because that’s not leading a good example for people.”
